Something Is Different
Finally, we arose to a calm morning and better yet a cloud bank was sitting over the eastern horizon. This is always a welcome sight as it tends to keep the deer out and moving longer and extends the photographing light. As we made our rounds and started glassing, the aforementioned theory held true and we were seeing deer everywhere with many being good bucks.

I’d been seeing a neat looking wide racked buck in a basin I liked to hunt. Unfortunately I had a hard time stalking him within photo range.
