Mellow Yellow

I know its been a while since the last post here at ELUSIVE but the hunting season has been an extremely busy one.  Today I actually had to quit hunting and get beck to work so it figures while working I would see a nice buck.  I have long wanted to get a good photo of a deer laying in blooming  rabbit brush as the yellows make such a great contrast.  So today while working I was checking shade with the old binoculars every chance I got.  I had little hope of finding anything as there were hunters everywhere.  So, imagine my surprise when I found this guy laying in rabbit brush from the road.  Everyone was driving right past him, thank goodness for wheelers they keep allot of people on the road and moving too fast.  I looked around and no one was coming so I snuck up took a few photos and snuck back down.  Driving away I took one last look and the buck? he was still laying there chewing his cud.  Fun experience and I love the yellow of the rabbit brush.
